How To Install Games From Gamecarts
- Insert your Gamecart into the 3DS.
- Power on the 3DS while holding START.
- Navigate to [C:] GAMECART"
- Press (A) on [TitleID].trim.3ds to select it.
- Select “NCSD image options…”
- Select "Build CIA from file"
- Once the process has finished press (A) to continue
- Press (Start) to reboot your console.
- Run FBI from the Home Screen.
- Navigate to the directory " SD:/gm9/out/"
- Find the cia file of your dumped game and press A.
- Select "Install" or "Install and delete CIA"
- Press A to confirm.
Installing Games From CIA files
- Copy the .CIA files into the cias folder on your SD card.
- Reinsert the SD card into your 3DS ad turn it on.
- Run FBI from your Home screen.
- Select SD from the folder list.
- Select cias from the folder lis.
- Select the game cia you want to install.
Converting .3DS into .CIA
- Copy the .3ds file into the /gm9/in folder on your SD card (if this folder does not exist create it)
- Reinsert the SD card into your 3DS.
- Power on the 3DS while holding the START button to boot into GodMode9
- Press the Home button
- Select "Scripts"
- Select "GM9Megascript"
- Select "Miscellaneous"
- Select ".3ds to .cia Converter"
- Select your .3ds games and press A
- Press A once complete to go back to the menu.
- Your .cia file will be found in the /gm9/out/ folder on your SD card.
- Your newly created .cia file can now be installed with FBI on your 3DS.
